Mrs. Buckmaster's Class

Goodbye readers. My parents probably wouldn’t pay thirty dollars a year to keep ads off my blog. I don’t really want ads distracting you guys while you’re reading. So as you know the year is over, if I had a four leaf clover I’d wish it would never end so I could see Mrs. B again. Maybe if she went to GPA (My middle school) I could see her every day. So anyway goodbye forever, readers, I click thee farewell.

This week is EOG week. Honestly I never thought they would be so easy. Anyway I have already completed the math and reading EOG parts and I’m going for science tomorrow. Maybe they made the EOG’s easier so the science test seem harder. I totally failed the benchmark so, wish me luck!

At my trip, Camp Greenville, my principal gave us T-shirts that showed three words that describes the upperhouse: courage, compassion, responsibility. On this post I will be talking about…

Courage

Courage: bravery: to face difficulty.

Example: held a ball python, and a corn snake. Never thought I would but someone else’s courage encouraged me.

Dear Mr. President,

In a respectful way I request that you stop EOG testing, because in k-2 they get graded by projects and activites they do in class to decide if they advance to the next grade. It all starts in third grade, pressure’s on. “EOG’s starts this year.” I say nervously in third grade. If you let kids express themselves through lessons, projects, and activities, they wont feel as pressured as we students feel today.

A student of Mrs. Buckmaster at Peeler Elementary School,

Sara G.

This week I learned about how people kill Elephants to make jewelry, and other (probably stupid) products. I think someone should put a stop to it and fast, because Elephants are already endangered!

All the poachers of the Elephants should be put in jail for about 5 ½ years, because in Kenya, Africa wildlife service had to stand guard of a mound of tusks (ivory) and were stolen in 1989. Also in 1989 the (CITES) rejected the bidding of ivory at an auction. For the sake of the Elephants I would have done the same thing.

Thanks for writing us first of all, it’s really surprising that people from africa are writing us. And second, I have no idea how you guys out there are jealous of us, we are jealous of you. If I came to cape town to visit you  I would love to go to your camp considering I have never been to africa before. I love that everything in africa is pretty much like America. It seems really fun to be you!

Dear teachers,

I think that you should know that us kids are not all well behaved, like in the past, we have gotten our selves in big trouble, we have talked to others in class, we’re disrespective to other teachers, we hurt each other, and mostly drama happens. The best thing that we wish you would do, is to punish the ones who are irisponsible at the time and privalage the responsible ones. (Only if they do something exellent of course.) If the whole class is irrisponsible (considering the best students too,) then I would say it’s okay. That’s everything I would think is a flaw.

Thanks,

Sara

When my fake sister was in 2nd Grade, her teacher pulled her by the ear every day. (Just to be mean!) When Destiny got home,(my sister)her mom told her, “Destiny, if you want your teacher to stop pulling your ear, slap her in the face!”. When I heard this story, I was thinking “What? Slap your Teacher? That is the most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard of!”, but it was for a good cost.
The next day she pulled her by the ear, Destiny slapped her. It did cause her to stop pulling her, but she held her back. 3 words: worst teacher ever!

This week Mrs. B asked us to write about our “New Year’s Resolutions,”.My resolution is to be more organized in my stuff. Previous in this year I lost so many papers out of my binder, Mrs. B found them everywhere. That means during the break for me isn’t going to all fun and games for me. Hopefully I won’t accedently tear my pages out of my binder anymore. I also have to learn how to be gentler with my stuff. I’ve said I wanted to be organized for years, but this year is special.  I’m going to set face for action!
